The sands of time are running. There is a day coming which will be known as the Lord's day or the day or vengeance. Are you prepared? Or, perhaps a better question, do you know how to prepare? Prepare to know to prepare? Prepare to meet your Go by understanding his word.

1THESSALONIANS 5:1-3 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Travail upon a woman is better translated as a woman in labor. The "they" in verse three are those that believe in the peace and safety of a false rapture doctrine. "They shall not escape." Paul is teaching us to prepare for the return of Christ by understanding the signs and seasons. Let's turn to the Old Testament.

ZECHARIAH 2:6-7 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

Any time you read of the four winds of heaven you should realize the Bible is talking about the end times. The four winds of heaven in Daniel 7 and Revelation 7 are what bring about the end of this dispensation. Babylon is confusion. Does God say He is going to deliver you out of confusion? No, Father said deliver yourself out of confusion.

ZECHARIAH 2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

God loves His children. As the conditions of this world continue to decay, God is becoming very angry at those that touch His children in a negative way.

ZECHARIAH 2:9-10 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

We are talking about the second advent. Christ will return and dwell with us.

ZECHARIAH 2:11-12 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

There will be many nations joined to the Lord through teachers during the millennium; however, there will still be that element that refuses to hear. Their destination is the lake of fire in Revelation 20. Note the word "again" in verse 12. He will reclaim Jerusalem and live there.

ZECHARIAH 2:13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Christ will rise out of His holy habitation and return to us.

ZECHARIAH 3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

Joshua is the Hebrew name or Jesus. At this point Satan is still in heaven standing at the right of Jesus and resisting, or accusing, Him before God.

ZECHARIAH 3:2 And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

God has a brand or seal, on the minds or some people today. They are the elect which have donned the gospel armor in preparation for the upcoming spiritual war with Satan. They have indeed been plucked out of the fire. Let's read more about this subject in Amos.

AMOS 4:11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Many will not return to Him and will be deceived. You must know the signs and seasons.

AMOS 4:12-13 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. 13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.

Prepare to meet thy God. Christ is returning soon. Has God declared His thought to you? The Lord's thoughts are declared to you in the Bible.

AMOS 5:1-3 Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. 2 The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up. 3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

Will you be part of the tenth that remain patiently waiting for the return of Christ? Or, are you ready to fly on out of here to be deceived?

AMOS 5:4-5 For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: 5 But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

Bethel is the house of God, or the churches in today's denominational system. Father is telling us to seek the truth from Him, not in the churches which, for the most part, have come to nought.

AMOS 5:7-8 Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth, 8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:

Seek the Lord and you will live. God is ready to pluck those that seek Him from the fire. Let's turn to Ezekiel.

EZEKIEL 13:1-2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

Prophesy against those that prophesy their own words rather than the Word of God. They are false prophets.

EZEKIEL 13:3-4 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

The foxes in the Song of Solomon are the Kenites. How many today are teaching from a quarterly written by a Kenite, rather than teaching from God's Word?

EZEKIEL 13:5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

Prepare for the day of the Lord. If you have any gaps of understanding you had better fill the gaps.

EZEKIEL 13:6-8 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. 7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken? 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.

God is against preachers that foretell the future with lies which they say the Lord spoke.

EZEKIEL 13:9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

The writing of the house of Israel is the book of life. The names of written in the book of life. Let's go to verse 17.

EZEKIEL 13:17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

What is this? God is talking about the daughters which prophesy falsely. Margaret MacDonald had a private revelation in 1830. This daughter's false prophecy began the rapture theory.

EZEKIEL 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

God is asking the false prophets if they are capable of providing salvation to the souls that listen to them. Woe to the women that sew covers to hide the outstretched saving arms of Christ and make kerchiefs to cover the eyes of those that might see.

EZEKIEL 13:19-20 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? 20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

There will be no rapture; however, if you believe the rapture theory, Satan might use this fact to deceive you.

EZEKIEL 13:21-22 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

The false prophets promise salvation cheaply. They say, "All you have to do is believe and then wait to be raptured out of here". These are dangerous teachers, friends.

EZEKIEL 13:23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Prepare to meet your God. Do you know the seasons? If you read God's Word with understanding, you do. He even told us about Margaret MacDonald in Ezekiel 13:17. Are you listening? The sands of time are running.
