Two subjects will be discussed: (1) The consuming fire which is our Heavenly Father taken from the Book of Hebrews as well as other Scriptures from the Word of God; (2) hell fire how it applies, what the Father would have, you the Elect, understand from these topics.

You must understand in sense they are two separate fires. Especially for the time being let us look at them as two totally separate fires. Fire is symbolic of YHVH's presence many times in the Word and an instrument of His power, in the way of approval or destruction.

We're going to cover in a moment Acts chapter 3 and you see the opposite in Acts chapter 14 which we will be discussing lightly. There can be no better symbol for YHVH than this fire. It being immaterial, mysterious, but visible; warming and cheering, comforting, but also terrible and consuming because it means many things to man.

The reason basically I want to discuss this is the fact that God is love. This is a figure of speech or is used figuratively to help you understand His entity which man cannot stand in the presence of. So a fire even though you can see it and sometimes not. But when your within it creates warmth, understanding and love. I like to think of love as warmth for it does warm the heart and you must be in that love to be in God.

But unfortunately many times down through the years the church has taken Scriptures such as throwing or casting the bundles of the tares into the fiery furnace they created a little red man symbolic of Satan with a pitchfork to pitch hay with and that symbol is used for fear to hold people in church rather than to hold them by the true love of God and understanding and the common sense He would have people know and practice.

So we see mythology actually being practiced in a church that would show this little man with red underwear with a pitchfork and horns. Misunderstanding Scripture brings things like this to pass. It is nothing but mythology for this is not what the Scriptures would have you think or know at all. Simply, who are these "tares"? They're the Kenites.

Which simply means at the end if they do not convert to the teachings of the holy ones, the Elect, the servants of Christ, then they must die. For God has said many times "fear not he that can destroy your body or kill it, but He that can kill your soul". You see your soul cannot be killed and dwell eternally in a fiery pit. Yet God is a consuming fire.

You can see how confusing the subject is. So I trust when we complete these studies that it becomes very clear. Let's understand God is a fire that warms and creates love. Let that love glow forth form you if He is in you. You might say if you don't want that fire to hurt you become part of the fire.

We are going to start in Exodus chapter 3. Some of the appearances of God on this earth. First there is a word that might better explain His presence for it the Hebrew word that means God dwells there or Yah dwells there. The word is "shekinah".

You've all heard of the shekinah glory, the brightness and shining of it. However, the word in the Hebrew means "God is there". I would have you call to mind Revelation 21 where it states in the temple there was no need of the sun because the Father and the Son are the light thereof.

You are children of light not darkness. So connect that fire if you would. We're not going to cover every word used for fire, such as lightning, phos and others until we get to hell fire. I don't want those confused with this "glorious fire", the shekinah glory that is our Father. But He must speak in a way that you as mortals can understand.

The first example is in Exodus 3. This is when Moses was approached by Him on that mountain.

EXODUS 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

Think about it. Here was a bush that was blazing brightly with a fire that Moses could see and yet it was not consuming the bush. Yet God is a consuming fire. That bush is symbolic if you would of the Tree of Life of which you are a part. Become part of that fire and it does not hurt.

Call to mind also Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego when they were thrown into an actual fiery furnace seven times hotter than normal. Jesus walked with them and quenched the heat from fire because they became literally and spiritually a part of that fire.

Your Father controls nature and He uses nature many times. When you mix something literal with a figure of speech it can be confusing unless you realize we are talking about Yahveh the Creator of all things.

These little natural things come easy for Him. But to think of His being and His warmth and yet at the same time His destruction.

EXODUS 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

Moses was excited why this bush wasn't burning.

EXODUS 3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

You might use this as a reference when He calls you. Don't say, "I'm not ready yet." Say, "here am I" and serve Him, be a part of that fire.

EXODUS 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

What was the message then from this fire? I AM is His name. Eyeh ashur eyeh in the Hebrew tongue. So we see again the mystery. The consuming fire and yet it was not consuming this bush. Moses was afraid to look upon it. The Father speaking to him.

Perhaps in the mystery of this we can better understand how thankful we should be and are for the Holy Spirit we can approach and even dwells in you. The words put forth by that bush was the very seed line, the identity. The ones He had chosen and blessed, not because they were something extra special, but to be a blessing to all people.

The name Abraham meaning the father of many nations is to be a blessing to every race, color, and creed upon the earth. To bring that truth which is the fire forth to all mankind. So Moses certainly was blessed that he could see this. We're not going turn there, but if you were to turn to Exodus 14:19-20 you would see this fire used in a diverse way.

It was a pillar of fire at night separating Egypt from Israel protecting her. At the same time on the Egyptian side it was dark to the point they could not see and on the Israel side it was a glowing, warming, comforting light that guided them.

God can be whatever He wishes to be to whomever He wishes. It's no mystery, you simply know His plan and you understand that consuming fire and how it is used. The energy brought forth from it both in spiritual or literal. He loves His children, He likes to protect them.

Let's turn to Hebrews 12. We'll pick it up in verse 22. This is where Paul was telling them to gather themselves in a cloud, which means a group, and stand by to run the race for Jesus Christ to bring salvation or truth to the world.

HEBREWS 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Here we have shekinah - God is living there. Beloved your going to see this some day. Those angels you know are our own. That city is new Jerusalem. Your going to see this I feel very soon.

HEBREWS 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

Beloved, who are the first born? They are those that overcome in this world, God's Elect.

Do you know what the "spirits of just men made perfect" are? "Just" is the zadok, the elect, the remnant that overcame if you would all through. They're written in heaven in the heart of the Living God.

HEBREWS 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Oh, how much He is trying to tell us here. Christ's blood was shed innocent. Abel's blood was shed by the vengeance of Cain. Who is the father of the Kenites other than Satan himself? So we see then God speaking to you of that in the beginning, the beginning of the Kenite. Abel's blood cried from the ground, but Christ's blood bought the atonement. It paid the price for you.

HEBREWS 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

This is Moses and the law, and if you would, Christ in the flesh. Does the Holy Spirit speak to you? Then listen and listen closely.

HEBREWS 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

"Once more" would be better translated "next time". Now beloved you as Bible scholars know the events when God shakes the heavens. You know what happens there. He is shaking heaven and Satan falls to the earth. He is preparing you for that time when you must confront that old dragon which is Satan or anitchrist.

HEBREWS 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

The removing is a sifting. When Satan is shaken from the heavens and forced to earth; are you a part of that consuming fire, which is Yah, that you cannot be shaken because you are literally a part of the Tree of flame. The flame of truth, of righteousness.

I know we all sin but that truth that comes from your mouth as you share it is the mightiest weapon on this earth. For it is a weapon brings good not bad, it is a fire that cleanses and does not contaminate.

It is a fire that builds, that does not consume to the point of destruction. For the fire of God will not destroy that that is good. Fire is used symbolically to let us know He is love and all that is not love cannot become a part thereof.

HEBREWS 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Part of that kingdom you have in your heart shall not be shaken either. Jesus gave that grace to you.

One of the reasons I wanted to do this lecture was because people don't understand Godly fear. They understand rather the fear man has espoused. Fear of death and fear of burning. There's no pain I can think of that surpasses the pain of burning with fire and it is well used and over used. Godly fear is not that type of fear at all.

The word fear in both Greek and Hebrew you would be better to translate to the English as revere than fear. Godly fear is to fear, if you would, that you should be out of His camp. That you should be other than a part of His flame. The flame that warms and brings cheer.

Do you bring warmth and cheer to those around you? Or do you cut them off from it? Do you build them or tear them down? When you walk into a group and depart, is that group better off for your having been there? If it is then your a part of that fire.

You don't have to work at it, you don't have to over do it, you don't have to be "sugar and spice" otherwise you become sickening sweet. If He is in you then that Spirit mirrors forth through your very eyes. People like you, they like to be around you. Be a part of His fire and understand the fire. It is not something that destroys or hurt but heals and makes warm and well.

HEBREWS 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Now understand that. It sounds tough doesn't it after all those nice things I've said and yet Paul just said God is a consuming fire, period. That's what people take advantage of. They would have not understood those beautiful scriptures Paul had just related above.

They would hold you by fear, "He's gonna burn you!" Even in mythology they have the little man with the pitchfork being Satan not God. So you see it's real easy to get the two, if your not careful, confused.

If we may to better understand this fire, let's go to Hebrews chapter 1 of this book we're reading here. I want to read a few verses here. He's going to quote a verse from Psalms that I'm really wanting to get to but we'll read it in Hebrews and I feel Paul puts it a little better if you would.

HEBREWS 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

In other words God gave messages to old Jeremiah, Isaiah, all of them.

HEBREWS 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

That's an interesting statement isn't it. Of course His Son is the Spirit, the Holy Spirit. It is the Spirit that moved upon the waters, that formed and that created. He's saying here in a sense, that I gave parts of the truth to the various fathers, but to my Son I gave all that truth for He is the Truth, He is the Word.

HEBREWS 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

That form of brightness is a form of that fire or glowing. I want you to make a mental note of "His image" or His person. When did He purge our sins? On the cross of course. By shedding His blood, sat down on the Right Hand of the Majesty on High. In other words this is the crucifixion and He is there now sitting beside our Heavenly Father, Yahveh.

HEBREWS 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

In other words the angels were created, Jesus was begotten.

HEBREWS 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

This is to certify that Jesus Christ was the true and only son of God. Don't overlook that.

HEBREWS 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

So we begin to see the significance of the Son, the heir to all. This would be at the second advent of course.

Sharpen up in the next verse that's why came here.

HEBREWS 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Now this word "ministers" as it used here means earthly ministers and you as God's elect are those ministers. Are you a flame of fire? Is that a figure of speech? No, the words you speak if they are from the Father are a flame of fire.

For it should be warm, it should be gracious, it should be comforting, it should make people feel real good. Unless it someone practicing the religion of the Kenites, it should shake them just a little bit. It was designed that way for they need be warned.

Incidentally what Paul is quoting from is Psalms 104:4. The word in the Hebrew used in that psalm concerning the ministers, so that you understand what we're talking about here, is "shaw-rath'" which means servant. Christ was the Christ and all others are servants. But if you are truly a minister of God then you should have a word of fire or flame of fire.

You begin to see and understand then what type consuming fire our Father is.

Let's take this just a little further. You have to take something like this step by step. Let's go to 1 Corinthians chapter 3.

Now if you as a minister or as a flame of fire I hope you can see the testing in this. For that that stands before fire it is according to its substance as to whether it burns.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

In other words if you are building on that foundation that Paul laid which is the truth, the gospel. Be careful he's saying.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Christ is the door, the way, there is no other way. When your building build on Jesus Christ, there's no other answer.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

I want you to realize some of these things will burst into flame when heat is applied and others will not. Visualize what Paul is doing here, he's talking about your deeds on earth. What are you building in your life? Is it gold or is it stubble? Everyone tries to build. What are you building? What material are you using to build upon Jesus Christ?

1 CORINTHIANS 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

All your work is going to be made known. We're saying work not sin necessarily ok. Don't start squirming on me here. Your work in working towards Christ will be made known. You can imagine if you have laid gold upon your work and fire hits gold it doesn't change the element necessarily.

On the other hand let's say you've only wood upon that altar there's not that much left after fire has hit it. Let's say you have stubble or straw there is nothing there after fire. That's what your work for the Father amounts to what you have done spreading that flame as His ministers are flame. So if you built on straw your work amounts to nothing.

Do you see how fire is used here to illustrate your very deeds are a part of that fire. Fire again is used figuratively whereby you can understand our Father for He is that consuming fire. If your works are good you have nothing to fear, for Godly fear would have instantly set you free.

Now none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. But as I said before we're not talking about sin here has nothing to do with sin we are talking about your work. We're all sinners and sin does not necessarily take away your good works. Let's document that.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:14-15 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Got that? Even if you have built with stubble your reward is not going to please you but your going to be saved as by fire. He loves you for trying. If I were to leave any thought with you that would deviate a little from the subject, would be never be afraid to try.

He knows beloved. If it amounts to stubble so what, you tried and your going to be counted. It's good, very good. Do your best and strive, if you would for the gold.

What are we talking about? Let's get back to the subject, love. Helping others and sharing His truth for He is that flame that is life, that is truth, that is comfort, that is love. That's what you want to try to spread. Not something fake or something false; not just love for the sake of love but love that helps.

For truth only and truth alone can help and help was never needed more than it is at this time. There is a famine of truth throughout the world. Be a minister of fire and that consuming fire and let that fire lick, if you would, just a little bit. Not necessarily to destroy but to warm the hearts of His people. God is a consuming fire.

When the cold of night and Satan's blackness that is in this world right now and the frost has come forth and that warming fire is ever so comforting. You couldn't live without it you would freeze instantly. He is a consuming fire but what a wonderful, comforting fire He is.

Never be afraid for your deeds to be tested, if you fail you are still going to be- in the Greek "snatched"- from the fire. So we see then in this a testing. It would be impossible for our minds to totally understand Yahveh our God the Creator, but in this we can begin to understand.

Why would it say His ministers are a flame or flame of fire? Was not Adam made in the image of God? If God is a consuming fire and Adam was made in His image does God not say kind after kind? So we're not talking about a bunch of freaks here. We're talking about that family Abraham that Yah Himself mentioned from that bush to Moses.

They are flames of fire, for they are kind after kind and they are made in the image of That Son. As I told you to make a mental note of the Son being made in the image of the Father. Jesus was a beautiful, comforting, warming person, you are too.

So you see I want you to understand we're not talking about a blast furnace here. I will not have people held by fear! For God doesn't want you to be held by fear. If you have to be forced to something He doesn't want you.

He wants you because you want Him, because you love Him. He wants to hear you say, "Lord, our Heavenly Father, thank you for creating this world, I love you Father." See, He needs your love you are His children. Oh how a parent loves to hear a child say, "I love you." Be a part of that warming fire. Be kind after kind, be in His image. Be of the burning bush.

Let's turn to Jeremiah now if we may. Jeremiah chapter 5 and begin at verse 7. God was talking of His children, His people in the last days, how they would surely be deceived by the Kenites, the false ones.

JEREMIAH 5:7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

They swear by some christ that's not Christ is what He's saying. Adultery means idolatry they worshipped other gods. They run into those church houses that claim to be of God but they weren't of the true Christ. They were nothing but harlot houses because they were practicing idolatry. "They're my wife, my virgin" but there they go whoring after false teachings.

JEREMIAH 5:8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

You are Christ's wife, see that your don't let the Kenites drag you off into that filthy bed of a Jezebel which is Satan's.

JEREMIAH 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Don't take this personally, it's national. Your nation Israel has gone whoring after false teachings.

JEREMIAH 5:10 Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her battlements; for they are not the LORD's.

God didn't tell them to teach things like this. "You can't kill them" is what He's telling Satan, but you can deceive them (Rev 9:4).

JEREMIAH 5:11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.

Let me tell you something. When you turn to another god from that of the One that created you is treachery, first class treachery.

JEREMIAH 5:12 They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

They're saying, "We got it made, we're all right, we got good jobs everything is fine. The Kenites have created one worldism, everything is beautiful. He's not coming back, this is it, it wasn't that One on the cross, it's this messiah we've been waiting for."

Do you know what He is going to do for you?

JEREMIAH 5:13 And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.

The prophets will become wind bags. They will preach a lot and say nothing.

JEREMIAH 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

God's Word through Jeremiah will be as fire to the false prophets. Beloved let me tell you, you are living in a time when this will become a reality. That false dragon is returning very soon and as entire houses go whoring after him in the last days, God is going to make your words fire and that people wood.

We are talking figuratively of course. That's what this whole lesson has been about. For the reality of the consuming fire is upon this earth right now. Even the gainsayer will be convinced by what you say, for it will not be you speaking but the Holy Spirit speaking through you.

What is the Holy Spirit? Remember Acts 2? When that spirit fell upon them there appeared cloven tongues like as fire and set upon each of them. Those tongues of fire which is God speaking through you when you are delivered up.

You don't even have to premeditate what you shall say for it will be God's fire that comes from your mouth. I hope you understand that that is simply the truth so you can put this fire thing in perspective.

Turn to the Book of Revelation 11. Is this a new thing we're talking about here fire coming from your mouth? Do you remember the two witnesses?

REVELATION 11:3-4 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

What is this God of the earth? The consuming fire of course.

REVELATION 11:5-6 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6.These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

It's not the two witnesses, and we don't know who they will be, but we know they will have that power. Each of you, when that cloven tongue falls upon you, that fire which is the truth shall be there.

In closing turn to Luke chapter 12. Let Jesus close this topic.

LUKE 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Let there be no doubt that this fire is coming. Have you kindled that fire? Have you helped it to grow? Have you fanned it like you would do the coals? His truth His love? What have you done?

LUKE 12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

He was pained it wasn't quite done yet. That baptism is the Holy Spirit that the cloven tongues of fire fall upon those that would receive.

LUKE 12:50 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Those that have fallen into that Babylonian system, which is confusion and false teachings, will split from you. They will divide.

LUKE 12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

Let me tell you if an entire family sees the truth, Father has blessed you more than you'll ever know. Half of my counseling is due to this division.

LUKE 12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

We see then that the real truth does cause division. But be not ashamed come out of Babylon. Be a part of that fire. As we said in the beginning of this, there is one way the fire cannot hurt you is to be a part of it.

Let His warmth in these freezing days, for this is the hour of darkness, this is Satan's hour. Let God's light from that fire shine upon you. Become a child of light. How wonderful His ability to set words before man, through illustrations and various other means, whereby we can understand our Heavenly Father.

This is one of the closer looks that you might have of Him. He wants to warm your heart and from this He wants you to warm others. See that you are about His business for that is placing gold on the foundation that was set forth for you.
